Chuck Scianna, President

Chuck co-founded SIM-TEX in 1986 and is currently the owner and President of the company. He has over 40 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
Chuck has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Southern Mississippi and a MBA from the University of Houston, and served in the U.S. Marine Corp Reserves. He serves on the boards of numerous charities and civic associations.

 

John Howard, Executive Vice President, COO

John Howard has recently joined Sim-Tex and brings with him more than 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining Sim-Tex, John spent the past 14 years with the Sumitomo Corporation tubular group in multiple executive and leadership roles at both the corporate and subsidiary company level. These roles covered all segments of the oil and gas industry including upstream, midstream and downstream. Prior to joining Sumitomo, John spent more than 15 years with Atlantic Richfield (ARCO) in various supply chain management roles focused on upstream exploration domestically and internationally. John holds a BS in Petroleum Engineering Technology from Oklahoma State University and an MBA from the University of Dallas.

 

Steve Eakin, VP of Marketing

Steve has been with SIM-TEX for 19 years. Steve has a Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Marketing/Management from Baylor University. He started his career with Armco Steel Corp. and has been in the OCTG industry for 34 years.

 

 

Steve Scianna Sr., VP of Operations

Steve has been with SIM-TEX for 11 years. He brings over 34 years of operations experience in oilfield equipment manufacturing, munitions manufacturing and the shipbuilding industry. Prior to SIM-TEX, Steve served as Deputy Director of Environmental, Health and Safety Operations for Northrop Grumman’s Shipbuilding Sector.

 

 

Chuck Galliger, VP and Chief Financial Officer

Chuck has been with SIM-TEX for 5 years. He comes to SIM-TEX with over 26 years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting; including audit, financial systems, financial analysis, planning/forecasting, financial modeling, and reporting. Chuck has worked for such companies as Duracell, Gateway Computers, General Electric Corporate HQ and Commercial Finance, and BMC Software.
Chuck has a Bachelor’s of Accountancy from the University of North Dakota and is a Certified Public Accountant.
