Threading
Threading is a critical step in the performance and integrity of Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG). Once threaded, pipes are connected using couplings to form a continuous string capable of withstanding internal and external pressure.
Sim-Tex offers a range of API standard end finishes for both tubing and casing. For tubing, we provide round threading in external upset ends (EUE) and non-upset ends (NUE). For casing, we offer short-threaded (STC), long-threaded (LTC), and buttress-threaded (BTC) connections.
In addition to standard threading, we can supply custom and modified connections upon request. All threading undergoes a detailed inspection process to ensure it meets API specifications. Our team works closely with processors to guarantee every joint is ready for the field.
